ActorsWorkshop Settle Into New Home
Actorsworkshop have now settled into their new home at Chapter. Following the move in 2011 David and Jamie are now ready to welcome guests into their office.
The duo painted the walls a fresh white colour with the help of Jamie's professional painter/decorator brother Mark. The furniture has been picked out and now arrived, computers are now working with the broadband and the team's substantial library of acting related books are now in situ. The Company has also selected a new sofa and break out area furniture as a great deal of their work is talking with clients on a one to one basis.
"Its now perfect", Jamie Lee, Actorsworkshop's Artistic Director commented. "For some while now we've needed a permanent base and our new home at Chapter is now ready. A great deal of our time is used working with people individually, whether that be preparing them for an audition or working on that next presentation. Its great to have our own space for this work."
Over the last 12 months the team have doubled the number of workshops per week at Chapter, started a new musical youth theatre group in Llanover Hall Arts Centre and commissioned LimeGreenTangerine to refresh their brand in line with the move.
David Wilson, Actorsworkshop's Executive Director said its time to remind everyone of our work. "We found that through our partners Chapter or from our website we were oversubscribed for our two weekly workshops. We were also being asked by parents to start a new workshop for young people. The new brand, skilfully supplied by our partners at LimeGreenTangerine and the new home lets us pick up the rate of growth. Jamie and I have never shared a workspace and this has lifted our organisational capacity."
The Company are now inviting more people to visit them whether thats a booked one to one session or informally for a chat about their particular needs before signing up to a workshop or one of the Company's bespoke training programmes. "We've always been available through our website," David continued, "but now we can back that up with our own physical office to support those looking for personal development help."
To get hold of the Actorsworkshop team visit their new website at actorsworkshop.co.uk, give them a call on 02921 250566 or pop into their office at Market House across the street from Chapter and above the Cardiff Print Workshop.
